Guide to Admissions
For Reception 2027
If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you will need to apply for a Reception place for September 2027. Applications must be submitted online through Bristol City Council by the closing date in mid-January 2027.
As part of the application process, you will be asked to select up to three schools and rank them in order of preference. If you would like your child to attend Our Lady of the Rosary, it is important that you list our school as your first preference.

In addition to completing the online application form, families should also complete our Supplementary Information Form. If your child has been baptised, please provide a copy of their baptism certificate. Families from other faith traditions are also asked to provide appropriate evidence of their faith.
In Year Applications
If you would like your child to join Our Lady of the Rosary then you must complete an 'In Year Supplementary Form'. This must be returned to the school office and your child will then go on our waiting list. When spaces become available we follow our school Admissions Policy and will contact you to offer you the place.

We warmly invite prospective parents and carers to visit our school and attend one of our school tours. These visits provide an excellent opportunity to see our school in action, meet members of our staff and learn more about life at Our Lady of the Rosary. If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled tours, please contact the school office and we will be pleased to arrange an alternative visit at a convenient time.
